MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team lost a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game on the road at No. 3 Millersville University, 6-0, Saturday afternoon.

Millersville (11-3, 3-3 PSAC) scored two goals in the seventh minute followed by a second-quarter score at 20:51 to take a three-goal advantage into the halftime break over The Rock (3-11, 0-6 PSAC).

The Marauders finished off the victory by scoring three more goals over the opening seven minutes of the second half on the way to the 6-0 win.

Jessie Trube recorded three of The Rock's five shots on the day with three attempts, one of which was on goal.
Kayla Ulrich and
Courtney Page accounted for Slippery Rock's other two shot attempts Saturday.

Goalkeeper
Hannah Nurse played all 60 minutes for The Rock, making seven saves while giving up six goals.

For the game, Millersville held advantages over The Rock in total shots (21-5), shots on goal (13-1) and penalty corners (14-4). Erica Tarsi scored two goals to lead the Marauders.

Slippery Rock returns home to host Mercyhurst University 4 p.m. Tuesday.
