SRU scored another two runs the following inning, thanks to Machala Andrews' two-run single up the middle that scored Nicole Siciliano and Hannah Nestor, who each reached base on singles.

The Rock's other four runs were scored in the seventh inning, started off by Brown's RBI single through the left side to make it 5-1. Caitlin Baxter's three-run homer to left field sealed the deal for Slippery Rock's final victory of the trip.
