LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team scored three second-half goals en route to a 3-0 shutout of Lock Haven University Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play.
The victory, SRU's second in a row, improve The Rock's record to 10-5-1 overall and 9-4-1 in the PSAC. Lock Haven drops to 3-11-1 overall and 3-10-1 in league matches.Slippery Rock now needs to earn just one point through its final two games to clinch a spot in the PSAC Tournament.

Tess Keeley added an assist as well for The Rock.
Demich's goal was her 10th of the season, which is a Rock-high and the third most in the PSAC this year. Sweeney's and Kramer's goals were their second and third of the year, respectively.

Charlotte Elrod registered her seventh shutout, the second most of any goalie in the PSAC, after making one save. On the season, Elrod now has a 0.68 goals against average and a .788 save percentage.
After a scoreless first half, Slippery Rock broke the tie when Sweeney put in a rebound off of an empty net in the 52nd minute. Kramer made it a 2-0 game 18 minutes later when she finished off a Keeley assist. Demich put the finishing touches on the victory with a goal to the near post with 29 seconds remaining in regulation.
Slippery Rock will look to extend its winning streak to three games 3 p.m. Oct. 27.
