KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- The Rock saw its season come to an end Thursday as Shippensburg handed the Green and White a 4-0 setback in an elimination game of the NCAA Division II Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament.

The loss gave SRU a 27-17 final record, the most wins in school history.

The Rock also made its first-ever appearance in the NCAA playoffs and its first postseason appearance of any kind since 1984, when the Green and White competed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs.
