LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Fourth-ranked Lock Haven (21-5) blanked The Rock by 6-0 and 8-0 scores Saturday in the opening doubleheader of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division schedule.

Lock Haven All-America pitcher Kristin Erb (15-5), the 2006 national Player of the Year, held The Rock to five hits in Game 1 and two hits in Game 2 and has now not allowed a run in 42 consecutive innings.

Stacey Rhoades had a pair of singles and Jessica Ellebruch, Jessica Kortz and Jordan Zeunges each added one single in Game 1.

Kortz ruined Erb's Game 1 no-hit bid with a leadoff single in the second inning and ruined the Game 2 no-hitter with a leadoff single in the fifth inning.

Zeunges slapped a one-out double in the sixth to account for the other SRU Game 2 hit and the Green and White's only extra-base hit of the day.

Lock Haven, meanwhile, pounded out a total of 31 hits in the twinbill.

lisa Getgen allowed six runs (five earned) on 16 hits, struck out two and walked two in Game 1.

Sheree Horvath allowed eight runs on 15 hits and struck out one in a complete-game effort in Game 2.

The Rock will take a 12-4 record into Sunday's 1 p.m. twinbill vs. PSAC-West rival Indiana U. of Pa. That will be the Green and White's first home date of the season.
