UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Junior Pat Reagan placed seventh in the individual competition Friday morning to lead The Rock to a 15th-place finish in the Penn State National Invitational.

Reagan (pictured above) covered the 5.2 mile course in 25:27. Senior teammate Jeff Weiss placed 14th with a 25:36 time, followed by George Walton in 93rd place at 26:53, Kevin Dustin in 147th place at 27:49 and Brian Ulrich in 151st place at 27:54.

Friday's race marked the first time in four competitions that Reagan did not win the individual championship. He earlier reigned over the California (Pa.) Invitational, Indiana (Pa.) Invitational and SRU Pre-National Invitational fields.

The Rock's next competition will be the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships, which will be held Nov. 1 in Lock Haven.

One week later, SRU will host the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional meet at Cooper's Lake Campground south of Slippery Rock.

That sets the stage for the Nov. 22 national championship race, which will also be held at Cooper's Lake.
