The Rock split a non-conference doubleheader Sunday at Shepherd (W. Va.).
The hosting Rams scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to win Game 1 by a 3-2 score.
SRU turned the tables in Game 2 and scored eight times in the top of the sixth to take a 12-4 win.
The Rock now owns a 12-12 record.
Stacey Rhoades had a pair of doubles to lead a five-hit Rock attack in Game 1. Kim Weindel added one double.
A pair of unearned runs in the top of the fourth inning gave The Rock a 2-1 lead, but proved to be the extent of SRU's scoring attack.
Game 2 winning pitcher Lisa Getgen's three-run triple in the top of the seventh inning proved to be the game-winning hit.
Jessica Kortz and Rhoades each picked up two RBIs for The Rock. Kortz singled home a run in the firsth inning and hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, while Rhoades got an RBI with a third-inning fielder's choice and her second RBI on a single in the sixth inning.
Courtney Vincent had a pair of singles to join Kortz and Rhoades as Rock players with a pair of hits in Game 2.
The Rock returns to action on Wednesday, when it will host Seton Hill College in a 2:30 p.m. twinbill.
