Edinboro, pa. -
Rock all-conference candidate Glenn Reepmeyer continued to live up to his billing Wednesday night, but the effort went for naught.
Reepmeyer, who earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division co-Player of the Week honors on Monday, scored a season-high 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds in an 87-59 loss at Edinboro.
Jamar Scales had 10 points and five rebounds to join Reepmeyer as the only Rock players to finish with a double-figure scoring total as SRU lost its third straight game and saw its overall record fall to 4-13 overall and its PSAC-West even out at 1-1.
Edinboro, which never trailed in the game, had five players score 10 or more points and improved its records to 11-5, 2-0.
The hosts enjoyed a double-digit lead throughout the final 35 minutes of action and had a lead of 20 or more points for the final nine minutes.
SRU will have a one-week layoff before it seeks to snap the losing streak in an 8 p.m. home game Jan. 24 vs. Indiana U. of Pa. (3-10, 1-0).
