Slippery Rock, Pa. - Michelle Mumma scored a goal off an assist from Ashley Stoner to account for the only Rock goal Saturday morning in a 5-1 loss to visiting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Millersville (2-8, 1-6 PSAC).

Mumma's goal in the 53rd minute of action trimmed Millersville's lead to 2-1 before the Marauders scored three unanswered goals to wrap up the scoring.

Millersville outshot The Rock (1-8, 0-7 PSAC) by a 22-11 margin. Rock goalie Ashley Winkelspecht recorded five saves, while Millersville netminder Jada Wolfe recorded three saves.

The Rock will seek to snap an eight-game losing streak next Saturday, oct. 7, when it hosts nationally ranked Kutztown at 11 a.m. on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
