Indiana, Pa. - Anastasia Urbanik recorded 49 kills and 11 blocks in three matches over the weekend to lead The Rock to three victories in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action hosted by Indiana U. of Pa.

The wins improve The Rock's overall record to 15-3, the best start by an SRU volleyball team since the 1993 team was 17-2.

Urbanik recorded 12 kills and one block in The Rock's 3-0 (30-23, 30-15, 30-17) win Friday night over Shippensburg. She had 21 kills and seven blocks in a 3-1 (30-22, 27-30, 30-15, 30-14) win Saturday morning over West Chester and added 16 kills and three blocks in a 3-0 (30-16, 30-26, 30-25) win Saturday afternoon over East Stroudsburg.

Jen Blasko had nine kills and eight digs vs. Shippensburg; 10 kills, 24 digs and three service aces vs. West Chester and 17 kills and 11 digs vs. East Stroudsburg.

Sara Kirsch recorded 31 assists, six kills and five digs vs. Shippensburg; 51 assists, seven kills and two service aces vs. West Chester and 48 assists, 10 digs, five kills, four aces vs. East Stroudsburg.

Katie Greco had seven kills vs. Shippensburg, while Louise Schultz had 13 kills and two blocks vs. West Chester and 13 kills and two blocks vs. East Stroudsburg.

Gwen Oberlin recorded 14 digs vs. Shippensburg, 25 digs vs. West Chester and 14 digs and three service aces vs. East Stroudsburg.

Caitlin Hubbard chalked up 13 digs and four aces vs. Shippensburg and 16 digs and one ace vs. East Stroudsburg.

The Rock returns to Indiana on Tuesday to take on the Indians in a PSAC-West contest (7 p.m. start).
