Visiting Bridgeport (2-4-1) scored a goal in the 101th minute of action Saturday afternoon to hand The Rock (5-3) a 2-1 double-overtime defeat in non-conference action on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
Justin Riggle scored the only Rock goal off an assist by Chris Byers in the 84th minute of action to tie the score at 1-1 and ultimately send the game into overtime.
Neither team scored a goal in the first 10-minute extra stanza; Bridgeport won the game with a goal in the first minute of the second overtime.
Rock goalie Chris Cook recorded four saves in his first start of the season.
The Rock will look to snap a two-game losing skid on Monday when it hosts East Stroudsburg in a battle of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's top two teams.
The Rock began Saturday's game atop the PSAC standings with a 5-1 record, followed by East Stroudsburg at 4-0-1.
