The Rock split a non-conference doubleheader at Wheeling Jesuit on Thursday, winning the opener by a 6-2 score before falling by a 4-2 margin in the nightcap.
SRU will take a 15-11 overall record into Friday's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division doubleheader at Indiana U. of Pa.
Stacey Rhoades was 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, Meghan McHenry had two hits including a home run and winning pitcher Lisa Getgen added two hits and two SBs in the first game.
In the nightcap, three Rock errors in the first inning led to two Wheeling Jesuit runs, which put the hosts on top for good.
Brittany Hahn took the loss on the mound, throwing four and one half innings. Hahn now falls to 7-6 on the season.
Liz Pittman came on in relief for The Rock, tossing one and one half innings.
Niki Banner hit a solo home run and Getgen singled home a run to account for SRU's second-game tallies.
