A day after not being able to plate a single run, The Rock bat attack exploded for 24 hits and 19 runs and drubbed hosting Clarion in two mercy rule-shortened contests, 10-0 and 9-1.
Game one saw The Rock explode for 13 hits, led by Stacey Rhoades' 3-for-4 performance with a double and one RBI.
Meghan McHenry continued to have a hot bat for The Rock, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.
Laura Campbell smacked two singles and drove in four runs, while Niki Banner bashed a two-run home run.
Kayla Ray added two hits, including a triple and Lindsay Rodgers roped two singles.
Earning the victory on the mound was Jenna Frieling who improved her record to 6-7 on the year. Frieling struck out four batters and allowed four hits in five innings of work.
The nightcap saw The Rock club nine more hits, led by McHenry's 2-for-3, three-RBI performance at the plate. Included in her hit total was a school record-setting nine home run of the season.
Alicia Dixon was also 2-for-3 with a double, while Rhoades and Andrea Murdock each singled twice and drove in two runs apiece.
Lisa Getgen picked up the win with a three-hit effort in five innings. Getgen improves to 6-2 on the season.
With the victories, The Rock snapped a five-game losing skid and improved its record to 20-18 overall and 6-10 in PSAC-West action.
Next up for The Rock will be a non-conference doubleheader at Alderson-Broaddus (W. Va.) on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
