The Rock rebounded from a game one loss, taking the nightcap of the twinbill against Edinboro 6-5.
The Rock jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the visitors would tie the game in the top of the seventh inning.
Stacey Rhoades led off the bottom of the seventh with a double. The visitors quickly got two outs before Lisa Getgen ripped a single to center field for the game winning hit.
Getgen also picked up the win on the mound for The Rock, throwing five strong innings and striking out one and improving her record to 4-1 on teh season.
Jenna Frieling tossed two innings of relief, striking out one batter.
Leading The Rock bat attack was led by Stacey Rhoades, who double and singled twice in the victory.
Niki Banner smashed a two-run homer, while Courtney Conron stroked two singles and added an RBI.
Meghan McHenry singled home a run and Andrea Murdock added a single.
Ashley Stoner and Laura Campbell also singled for The Rock's efforts.
With the victory, The Rock improves to 14-10 overall and 1-3 in PSAC-West action this season.
The Rock will take to the road for its next game, a scheduled doubleheader at Wheeling Jesuit University. Game one is set to begin at 1 p.m.
