Ft. Myers, Fla. - The Rock softball won its second game of the day in Ft. Myers, handing Wilmington (DE) a 1-0 loss.

The game was scoreless for five innings before a Lisa Getgen single drove home Andrea Murdock in the top of the sixth inning.

Getgen also picked up the win on the mound, the first of her collegiate career, tossing a complete game and striking out four.

The Rock attack at the plate was led by Getgen's single and RBI.

Stacey Rhoades and Courtney Conron also singled in The Rock's effort.

With the win, The Rock improves its overall record to 6-6 on the season.

The Rock will wrap up its spring trip to Florida Friday with a double header against West Chester University. The first game is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
