Ft. Myers, Fla. - The Rock softball team dropped another close game during their spring trip to Ft. Myers, falling to North Dakota 2-0.

The Rock battled The Fighting Sioux to a scoreless game through six and a half innings until a North Dakota double put the hosts on top in the bottom of the sixth.

Earning the hard fought loss on the mound was hurler Brittany Hahn, who struck out three batters in the contest.

Leading The Rock at the plate was Andrea Murdock with two singles. Laura Campbell and Lisa Getgen also singled for The Rock's cause.

With the tough loss, The Rock falls to 4-6 on the season.

Next up for The Rock will be a game with Bloomfield University on Thursday. First pitch will be 6 p.m.
