Kenny Smith added 15 points and Brandon Thompson chipped in 13 points for SRU, which saw its two-game win streak come to end and its season record fall to 2-4.
Millersville saw its season record improve to 6-1.
The Rock and Marauders traded leads early in the game before the guests took control of things.
Millersville led by nine points, 38-29, at halftime and then scored 27 of the first 38 points in the second half to extend the advantage to 25 points, 65-40, with 9:30 left to play.
Four minutes later, though, The Rock had roared back to trim the margin to single digits, 69-62.
That was the extent of The Rock comeback.
