Final Stats

Slippery Rock, Pa. - The Rock scoring woes continued Saturday morning as nationally ranked Kutztown blanked SRU, 7-0, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

The loss was the ninth straight sustained by The Rock, which saw its overall record fall to 1-9 and its PSAC mark drop to 0-8.

Kutztown outshot The Rock by a 22-4 margin and scored four first-half goals and three second-half tallies.

Tara Bailey recorded 10 saves in the first 57-plus minutes of action for SRU, while Ashley Winkelstecht chalked up two in the final 11-plus minutes.

The Rock will seek to end its skid Sunday when it travels to East Stroudsburg for a 1 p.m. PSAC contest.
