Jen Blasko recorded team-high totals of 13 kills and 20 digs Tuesday night to lead The Rock to a 3-0 (30-16, 30-26, 30-26) win over visiting Clarion in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action in Morrow Field House.
Anastasia Urbanik tied Blasko for team-high honors in kills with 13, while Louise Schultz had 12 and Andrea Campbell seven as SRU improved its season record to 20-4, 4-1 in PSAC-West action.
The Rock is currently tied for first place in the PSAC-West and also ranked first in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional poll.
Sara Kirsch handed out 44 assists and had 15 digs in Tuesday's match; Emily Sandora had 15 digs and two service aces; Caitlin Hubbard 10 digs and two aces and Gwen Oberlin recorded 11 digs.
SRU will take on Point Park and Geneva in first-day action of the Clarion Holiday Inn Classic on Friday, then meets Davis & Elkins and East Stroudsburg in Day 2 matches.
The Rock returns home next Tuesday to host Lock Haven in a 7 p.m. match in Morrow Field House.
