Final Stats

Millersville, Pa. - Rock goalie Tara Bailey recorded 10 saves Wednesday afternoon in a losing effort as hosting Millersville recorded a 2-0 win over SRU in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action.

Bailey and The Rock defense held Millersville scoreless for the first 38-plus minutes of action before allowing two second-half goals.

Millersville outshot The Rock by an 11-5 margin in the battle of two of only three PSAC teams not currently ranked in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II national poll.

An encouraging aspect to Wednesday's outcome is the fact that the final margin was the narrowest in The Rock's current 15-game skid.

The Rock (1-15 overall, 0-13 PSAC) will look to end the slide and close out its 2006 schedule on a winning note when it hosts nationally ranked Indiana U. of Pa. in a 7 p.m. game on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
