Final Stats

Shippensburg, Pa. - Rock goalies Tara Bailey and Ashley Winkelstecht combined to record 21 saves Thursday night in a 4-0 loss to hosting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Shippensburg.

Bailey recorded 12 saves and allowed all four Red Raider goals in the first half of action before Winkelstecht turned aside nine shots and recorded a second-half shutout.

Shippensburg (11-3 overall, 7-3 PSAC) outshot The Rock by a 33-2 margin, including a 22-1 first-half advantage, en route to handing SRU its 10th shutout loss in as many conference games this fall.

The Rock (1-11 overall, 0-10 PSAC) will seek to snap an 11-game losing streak at 7 p.m. Saturday, when it will host Mercyhurst (4-6) in a non-conference game.

SRU will also seek to snap a five-game skid in head-to-head matchups with Mercyhurst.
