Brandon Thompson scored a career-high 23 points Wednesday night in The Rock's 88-71 loss to visiting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Edinboro in Morrow Field House.
Joseph Vines added 15 points and a team-high six rebounds, while Matt Schaefer handed out nine assists for SRU.
The loss was The Rock's 15th straight and dropped SRU's overall record to 1-16 and its PSAC-West mark to 0-2.
Edinboro improved its record to 11-3 overall and 1-0 in PSAC-West action.
The Rock trailed by 14 points, 44-30, at halftime.
SRU goes on the road for its next two games. The Rock will visit Lock Haven for a 3 p.m. PSAC-West contest on Saturday and then travel to Clarion for an 8 p.m. divisional game on Jan. 25.
The next Rock home game will be Sunday, Jan. 29, at 3 p.m. against PSAC-West rival Shippensburg.
