Fort Myers, Fla. - All-conference outfielder Matt Kozusko had six hits in eight at bats Saturday to lead The Rock to a doubleheader sweep of Charleston (W. Va.) at Terry Park.

The Rock's 5-4 and 8-1 wins were its third and fourth in as many games this spring.

SRU, which opened its season with a 2-1, 12-2 twinbill sweep Friday vs. Stonehill (Mass.), is in the midst of a season-opening 12-game road trip to Florida.

Kozusko and Brad Wilson each had three hits to pace a 12-hit Rock attack in Saturday's first game.

Wilson and Chase Rowe had a pair of RBIs in the game, while Rowe and Phil Butch had a double each to account for SRU's only extra-base hits.

Derek Blyzwick struck out nine, walked two and allowed four earned runs on five hits in the first six innings to pick up the win. Nick Armstrong allowed one hit and walked one in the final frame and picked up a save.

In the second game, Kozusko was 3-for-4 and five Rock players -- Butch, Rowe, Tyler Wilson, Chris Tolliver and J.D. Lowry -- added two hits each in a 14-hit SRU attack.

Troy Wilson, Tyler's twin brother, was the winning pitcher in the second game. He struck out six, walked six and allowed one earned run on three hits in five innings.

Josh Rape struck out two, walked two and allowed one hit in the final two innings.

The Rock takes on Bloomsburg in a 9 a.m. game Sunday.
