Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Rock lost a 100-42 decision to Pittsburgh in exhibition action Saturday night at the Petersen Events Center.

Nathanael McCoy and Erroll Robinson had seven points each to lead The Rock in scoring, while 5-foot-9 guard Matt Hale led the team in rebounding with six.

SRU will host Penn State-Altoona in a scrimmage on Saturday, Nov. 12.

The Rock officially opens its 2005-06 season on Nov. 17 against Ohio Valley University (W. Va.) in Morrow Field House. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
