The Rock downed homestanding Lock Haven by a 3-0 count Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action.

Freshman Mallory Neubert scored two unassisted goals for The Rock, and Meghan McGrath added a score off of an assist by Sarah Mangiarelli to secure the victory.

The Rock outshot the Bald Eagles by an 18-12 margin on the game

With the win, The Rock improves to 7-3-2 overall and 4-0-2 in PSAC-W action.

Next up for The Rock will be a battle with defending PSAC champion Indiana U. of Pa. on Tuesday. Game time is slated for 4 p.m.

The Rock, on the strength of its win over Lock Haven and Edinboro's 1-0 loss to California, is currently two points behind Indiana in the PSAC-Western Division standings.

Indiana (10-1-1 overall, 5-0-1- PSAC-W) has 16 points, followed by The Rock with 14 and Edinboro (6-6-2, 4-1-1) with 13 based on the points system that awards three points for a PSAC-W win and one point for a PSAC-W tie.
