Rock field hockey falls to No. 1 Shippensburg 4-0

Shippensburg, Pa. - The Rock field hockey team fell on the road to No.1 ranked Shippensburg 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, The Rock falls to 0-8 overall and 0-8 in PSAC action, while Shippensburg remains a perfect 13-0 and 8-0 in conference play.

The Rock was outshot by the hosts 31-4 on the game. Rock Goalkeeper Tara Bailey recorded 14 saves.

The Rock remains in search of its first win of the season when it travels to Indiana U. of Pa. Wednesday afternoon. Game time begins at 4:00 p.m.
