Four players finished with double-figure scoring efforts Wednesday night to propel The Rock (4-15, 2-2) to its second straight win, a 66-60 triumph over visiting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Clarion (11-6, 1-2).
Bill Johnson led the way with a game-high 19 points and a career-high 12 rebounds, while Glenn Reepmeyer added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Wednesday's "double-double" was the seventh of the season for Reepmeyer and the first of the season for Johnson.
Mason Glick scored 15 points and handed out a game-high five assists and Brandon Thompson scored a career-high 13 points to round out The Rock's twin-digit scorers.
Behind the lead of Johnson and Reepmeyer, The Rock outrebounded Clarion by a 37-29 margin.
The Rock won despite committing 22 turnovers, one of its highest single-game totals of the season.
The game was closely contested through, as the largest lead of the night was a seven-point (22-15) Clarion advantage with 9:20 left in the first half.
The Golden Eagles held a one-point (31-30) edge at halftime.
The score was tied five times in the first 12 minutes of the second half before The Rock took the lead for good on a 3-point field goal by Glick with 7:30 left.
The Rock twice held six-point leads in the final seven-plus minutes.
The lead changed hands 14 times in the game and the score was tied on seven occasions.
SRU travels to PSAC-West co-leader Shippensburg (13-5, 3-0) for a 3 p.m. game on Saturday before hosting Indiana U. of Pa. in an 8 p.m. game next Wednesday, Feb. 2.
