Suzanne Cornelissen scored four goals and added three assists to set a Indiana U. of Pa. school record with 11 points and led IUP to a 10-0 win over visiting Slippery Rock in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest.
The Indians held a whopping 32-4 advantage in shots and posted 15 penalty corners compared to only four for Slippery Rock. Tara Bailey was credited with 18 saves for The Rock.
The Indians extended their current win streak to six games and improved their record to 8-2 overall and 5-2 in conference play. IUP entered the game ranked fourth in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association national poll.
Slippery Rock fell to 1-6 and 0-6 in the PSAC.
