Emma Wright and Sarah Arsenault each scored a goal in the second half to lead The Rock to a 2-2 tie against Northeast Regional rival Southampton College at Long Island University (4-0-1) on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
The tie keeps the Rock unbeaten at 5-0-1 for the season.
The Rock and LIU-Southampton entered the game ranked sixth and 17th, respectively, in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America national poll and ranked 1-2 in the regional poll.
The Rock gave up two goals in the first 10 minutes before Wright's unassisted goal off a direct kick from 30 yards away in the 57th minute of play initiated the Rock comeback.
Arsenault tied the score at 2-2 when she scored her ninth goal of the season, an unassisted tally, in the 76th minute off a deflected shot by Julie Kirwan.
The Rock outshot LIU-Southampton by a 19-9 margin.
Rock freshman goalkeeper Karrine Riggins made five saves.
The Rock visits Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division opponent Edinboro for a 4 p.m. match on Wednesday.
LIU-Southampton beat Edinboro, 2-0, on Saturday.
