Dr. Brian Crow was named in January 2003 as faculty athletic representative and chair of the University Athletic Council.

Dr. Crow is currently in his second year as assistant professor in SRU's Department of Physical Education and Sport Management.

He received his undergraduate degree from West Liberty State College and MBA and Ed.D. from West Virginia University.

Dr. Crow is Editor-in-Chief for the Sport Marketing Quarterly, Business Office Manager for the North American Society for Sport Management and on the Editorial Review Board for the International Sports Journal. He has as authored many publications and made over 40 presentations of his research.

Dr. Crow is an educational consultant for NIKE Grassroots Basketball and All-America basketball camp and serves as a strategy consultant for SOKOL USA.

Dr. Crow is also a founding board member of the Sport Marketing Association, a member of the Society for the Study of the Legal Aspects of Sport and Physical Activity and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
