Brad Wilson was 4-for-5 with a double to lead The Rock in a losing cause in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader with Pitt-Johnstown.
UPJ (13-6) parlayed five Rock errors into four unearned runs, three of which came in the top of the 13th inning, to record a 4-1 extra-inning decision at Jack Critchfield Park.
The loss dropped The Rock's record to 11-8.
Nathan Statzer and Joe Pascarella added two hits each for SRU. One of Pascarella's hits was an RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning that ultimately sent the game in extra innings.
Josh Rape was tagged with the loss after allowing three unearned runs on three hits in three innings.
Rock starting pitcher Jeremy Becker struck out 10, walked two and allowed one unearned run on four hits in the first eight innings.
Nick Armstrong allowed one hit in two innings in relief of Becker before Rape finished the game.
