Box Score

Slippery Rock, Pa. - For the second time in three days, The Rock gave its home crowd more than its money's worth by keeping the outcome in doubt until the final seconds.

But this time the final outcome wasn't favorable. A pair of shot attempts in the final seven seconds missed the mark and left The Rock one point shy of victory, 76-75, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division contest vs. Lock Haven in Morrow Field House.

Three days earlier, on Wednesday, The Rock nipped archrival Indiana U. of Pa, 61-60, on a last-second 3-point field goal by junior guard Jajuan Davis.

Saturday's loss dropped The Rock to 5-14 overall, 2-3 in PSAC-West action.

Lock Haven, by virtue of its minor "upset" of The Rock, improved its record to 3-16, 2-4.

Sophomore forward Glenn Reepmeyer scored a career-high 18 points and had a game-high nine rebounds to lead The Rock effort vs. Lock Haven. Junior forward Jason Taylor also scored 18 points and had seven rebounds, while freshman Nathan Lankford scored a season-high 16 points and handed out four assists.

The Rock returns to action on Wednesday when it will travel to PSAC-West-leading California U. of Pa. for an 8 p.m. contest.
