Box Score
Bill Johnson had his second 28-point scoring effort in as many days Friday afternoon, but it wasn't enough for The Rock to avert its 10th loss in as many games.
Hosting Wheeling Jesuit handed SRU a 72-65 setback in the final game of the Main Street Bank Classic in Wheeling, W. Va.
Johnson scored 23 of his points in the final half Friday as The Rock attempted to erase a 10-point halftime deficit.
The 28-point outputs matched Johnson's career-high totals.
Glenn Reepmeyer recorded his team-high fifth "double-double" of the season on Friday with 15 points and 10 rebounds to complement Johnson's scoring effort.
The Rock will seek its first win of the season on Tuesday when it travels to Bloomsburg for a 7:30 p.m. Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division game.
SRU will then play back-to-back home games on Jan. 8-9 against PSAC interdivisional rivals Cheyney and Millersville, respectively.
