Julie Kirwan scored a pair of goals Wednesday afternoon but it wasn't enough to lead the third-ranked Rock to victory.
SRU (9-0-2, 5-0-1) battled hosting Lock Haven to a 2-2 stalemate in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action.
The Rock entered the game alone in first place in the PSAC-West, as well as ranked No. 3 nationally and No. 1 in the Northeast Region.
Kirwan's first goal came in the 60th minute and was an unassisted tally that tied the score at 1-1.
Kirwan's second goal came two minutes later off an assist by Emma Wright and gave The Rock a 2-1 edge.
Lock Haven tied the score at 2-2 with a goal in the 82nd minute.
The Rock was outshot by a 21-8 margin, but freshman goalie Karrine Riggins recorded six saves for SRU.
The Rock travels to East Stroudsburg for a noon match on Sunday before heading to Indiana U. of Pa. on Tuesday, Oct. 12, for a PSAC-West contest.
