Final Stats

Slippery Rock, Pa. - The Rock continued its upward swing with a 3-0 (30-21, 30-28, 30-22) shutout of visiting Edinboro Tuesday night in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-Western Division match-up at Morrow Field House.

Lindsay Weber led The Rock with 16 digs, nine kills and two service aces. Katie Greco led The Rock with 11 kills, while Sara Kirsch paced SRU with 33 assists and 11 digs. Layna Heilman-Houser added 15 digs and eight kills, and Gwen Oberlin had 13 digs.

Tonight's victory improved SRU's record to 15-12 overall, 1-5 in the PSAC-West.

The win is The Rock's fourth in a row. SRU came off three-match sweep at the PSAC Crossovers in Millersville this past Friday and Saturday.

SRU looks to continue its winning streak when Lock Haven, which is tied for second in the PSAC-West, visits Morrow Field House on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
