Bill Johnson scores 19 in loss at Kutztown

Kutztown, Pa. - Junior guard Bill Johnson scored a team-high 19 points in a losing cause Saturday as The Rock dropped an 87-64 decision at Kutztown in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference interdivisional action.

The loss was SRU's third in as many games and dropped The Rock to 3-9 on the year. Kutztown snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 4-5.

Freshman guard Justen Stubblefield added 14 points and sophomore center Glenn Reepmeyer had 11 points and 12 rebounds to complement Johnson's effort.

Kutztown held a four-point, 42-38, lead at halftime before dominating the final half of action.

The Rock travels to Cheyney for a PSAC interdivisional game on Sunday.
