Former Slippery Rock University vollebyall standout Janna Reilly began her coaching career on head coach Laurie Lokash’s staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2015 season and was elevated to the role of assistant coach in May of 2017.
In two years as a graduate assistant, Reilly helped the Slippery Rock coaching staff with all facets of the program.
Reilly, who graduated in May of 2015 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, was the primary setter for Slippery Rock for the majority of her four-year career. She appeared in 128 matches and 464 sets over her four-year career and posted 2,979 career assists, which ranks fourth all-time in program history.
Reilly also tallied 1,070 career digs, 80 service aces, 50 kills and 49 total blocks.
As a freshman in 2011, she appeared in 31 matches and posted 1,108 assists, the second most in a single-season in program history. That effort led to her being named the PSAC Western Division Freshman of the Year and the AVCA Atlantic Region Freshman of the Year. Reilly, who garnered honorable mention All-Region honors from the AVCA as a freshman as well, finished her rookie campaign ranked second in the PSAC and third in the region with 9.98 assists per set.
A native of Mason, Ohio, Reilly is currently finishing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in addition to her coaching duties.
