Martin was dominant in The Rock's 41-14 road win at PSAC West preseason favorite Gannon. He recorded a team-high 11 total tackles and 2.5 sacks. He also forced a fumble on a sack, fought through a holding call that was whistled and recovered a fumble on the same play to finish with 11 tackles, 2.5 sackes, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. Martin now has 20.0 sacks in 17 career games and leads all active players in the NCAA, regardless of division, in sacks per game.
