The Slippery Rock University women's track and field team recorded 28 PSAC qualifying performances and four NCAA provisional qualifying marks with Ashley West leading the way at the Bison Outdoor Classic that took place Saturday and Sunday at Bucknell University.

West had the breakout performance she has been looking for to place second in the high jump. She cleared an NCAA provisional height of 1.71 meters, which is currently tied for the eighth best performance in the nation this season.
