Slippery Rock University Athletics

Sam Taylor won the javelin to lead the Slippery Rock University women's track and field team at the historic Adidas Raleigh Relays. Taylor picked up the event win at one of the most prestigious and historic track and field meets in the country by topping a field full of Division I talent. Her winning throw of 46.59 meters is an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark and currently is the fifth best performance by a Division II athlete in the nation this year.
