Slippery Rock University Athletics

Jasmine Bailey led the Slippery Rock women’s track & field with a dominant effort at the Cal U Early Bird meet last weekend. Bailey picked up a pair of individual wins in the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. She took the 200m in a time of 24.78 seconds, just off the SRU record of 24.66 seconds. She then won the 400m in 58.03 seconds before also running a leg of the 4x100-meter relay that took second in 47.89 seconds. For the year, Bailey ranks first in the PSAC in the 100-meters, 200-meters and 400-meters.
