Slippery Rock University Athletics

Tyler Melius qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships in the mile by running the fastest time of any PSAC athlete in the event this year last weekend at the SPIRE Midwest Open. Melius completed the mile in 4:14.60 to finish in third place in a 65-man field. His time is 0:3.31 seconds faster than the second quickest time in the conference this year.
