Slippery Rock University Athletics

Senior forward D’Asia Chambers led the Slippery Rock University women’s basketball team to a perfect 3-0 week with a trio of stellar performances. In three games, Chambers shot 66.7 percent (18-for-27) from the field 83.3 percent (5-for-6) from the foul line while producing per game averages of 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.3 steals in just 21.0 minutes per game. The highlight of Chambers’ week was a 29-point, 15-rebound, five-assist and four-steal effort in The Rock’s 98-71 win against Penn State Beaver. She also nearly produced another double-double with nine points and seven rebounds in just 14 minutes during a 65-24 SRU victory over Penn State Allegheny.
