Lubich was one of four Slippery Rock track and field athletes to post NCAA provisional qualifying marks on the opening weekend. He finished third in the heptathlon at Kent State with a score of 4,900 points. His score currently ranks fourth among all NCAA Division II athletes in the seven-event competition.
