Biography
Sophomore middle distance stand-out Laura Mucho will lead The Rock’s efforts in the 800m and 1500m events. After switching from soccer to track early in her freshman year, Mucho ran well at the indoor PSAC championships earning two All-Conference honors in the 800m and 1 mile run. Mucho also helped The Rock’s scoring effort with record-setting runs in both the DMR and 4x800m relay events. At the outdoor PSAC Championships, Mucho had an exceptional 1500m race finishing second with a NCAA Provisional Qualifying time of 4:39.54.
Also on the Cross-Country team...Before the Rock: Attended Seton Hill University during 2005-06...Lettered in soccer. High School: Graduated in 2005...Four-year letter winner in soccer, three-year letter in track...MVP in soccer 2004...Rookie of the Year in track 2002...2nd place in WPIAL 1600 senior year...Student Council...Class Treasurer...Honor Roll...National Honor Society...Business/Marketing major.
