Slippery Rock University Athletics

     After transferring from Bowling Green State, sophomore Lacey Cochran made an immediate impact SRU track team. The 400m specialist won both the indoor and outdoor quarter mile events at the PSAC championships and ran in the second position on the championship 4x400m relay team. Cochran finished out her season at the NCAA National meet where she competed in both the 400m and 4x400m events. The Rock will look for Cochran to once again run strong in the long sprint events during the 2008 season.      

Before the Rock: Attended Bowling Green State University 2005-2006...High School: Four-year letter winner in Track and Soccer...Lettered two years in Basketball...National Honor Society ... Elementary Education major.
