Personal: Daughter of Barbara Schmidt and Edward Shaffer … exercise science major.

2011 (XC): Did not compete.

2010: PSAC-Scholar Athlete.

High School: Lettered four times in both cross country and track at South Side Beaver High School … helped guide the South Side track and field team to a W.P.I.A.L. Sectional Championship in 2009.
