The 2019-20 season will mark Alexis Deyarmin’s third season as a student assistant on head coach Bobby McGraw’s coaching staff for the Slippery Rock University women’s basketball team.
As a student assistant, Deyarmin assists McGraw and assistant coach Chenara Wilson in all facets of the program while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education with minors in both Aquatics and Adventure Fitness.
Since joining McGraw’s staff, Deyarmin has been a part of back-to-back 12-win seasons. The 24 wins in two years are the tied for the most victories in back-to-back seasons over the last 18 years.
Prior to joining The Rock’s coaching staff, Deyarmin played for The Rock as a freshman in 2016-17, appearing in 11 games.
As a high school player, Deyarmin lettered four times, was an all-region athlete and a member of the National Honor Society at Grove City High School.
