Personal: Son of Lynn and Buck Helfferich … exercise science major.

2014 (Outdoor) : Qualified for the PSAC in the 400H and had a personal best (55.13)...was a memeber of the 4x4m relay team...competed in the PSAC Championship and helped take the 4x4m relay to a 5th place (3:18.84) and placed 7th in the 400H (57.38).

2013-14 (Indoor) : Qualified for the PSAC Championships in the distance medely relay and the 4x4 took 5th in the DMR(10:35.44) and 3rd in the 4x4 (3:19.90)...took 2nd in the Kent State Tune-Up in the 300H (39.53)...got a personal best at the SPIRE Midwest T&F Open in the 60m (7.32)

2013 (Outdoor) : Qualified for the PSAC Championships and took 13th in the 400-meter hurdles(57.13) ... took 4th in the SRU Last Chance meet in the 400-meter hurdles(58.03) ... competed in the 2013 Ed Fry Invitational helped the 4X4 team take 3rd(3:3134) and placed 8th in the 400meter hurdles(59.07) ... placed 3rd in the 400-meter hurdles(57.68) at the SRU Invitational and took 10th in the 200-meter(23.56)

2012-13 (Indoor): Ran in seven events...recorded 3 top ten finishes at in the 300-meter hurdles,  500-meter run, and 4x400-meter relay at the Kent State Tune-up BWU Mid-February Meet, respectively...recorded a personal best time in the 800-meter run (2:05.94)

2012 (Outdoor): Ran in fifteen events ... six top-ten finishes ... competed in the 200-meter dash, the 400-meter dash, and was a member of The Rock's 4x400-meter relay team ... placed fifth in the 4x400-meter relay (3:31.87) at the W&J Invitational ... recorded a personal best 100-meter mark (11.60) at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational.

2011-12 (Indoor): Qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 400-meter dash, placing 24th with a time of 51.46 seconds … also competed at the PSAC Championships as part of SRU’s sixth-place distance medley relay team (10:30.46) … helped SRU to a win as a member of its 4x200-meter relay team at the B-W Mid-February Meet (1:33.33) … also turned in top-10 finishes at the Baldwin-Wallace in the 400-meter dash (eighth – 52.83 seconds) and the 200-meter dash (eighth – 23.64 seconds).

2010-11 (Outdoor): Competed in the 100-meter, 200-meter and 400-meter dashes as a freshman … came in 10th place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.61 at the Bill Van Horne Invitational … also placed 12th at the Bill Van Horne Invitational in the 400-meter dash (52.26) … secured a pair of top-10 finishes at the SRU Invitational in the 200-meter dash (fourth place / 23.53) and the 400-meter dash (51.56) … finished freshman campaign by placing sixth in the 400-meter dash (52.27) and ninth in the 200-meter dash (23.23) at the Ed Fry Invitational ... PSAC-Scholar Athlete.

High School: A four-year lettermen in both soccer and track and field … led Latrobe to a 2009 track and field sectional championship … was a member of Latrobe’s 4x400 county championship relay team … was the captain of the soccer team for two seasons … earned all-section honors in soccer in 2009 … a member of the National Honor Society.
