Personal: Son of Douglas Sauers ... finance major.

2012 (Outdoor): Qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 800-meter dash (8th/2:05.58) ... recorded four top-ten finishes ... posted a personal best 400-meter mark (52.08), placing fourth at the Slippery Rock Open ... placed third as a member of The Rock's 4x400-meter relay at the Slippery Rock Open (3:25.83).

2011-12 (Indoor): Competed at the PSAC Championships as a member of SRU’s 4x800-meter relay team (10th – 8:29.96) … placed sixth in the 800-meters at the Youngstown State Icebreaker (2:00.59) … finished in 14th place at the B-W Mid-February Meet with a time of 2:09.19 in the 800-meters.

2010-11: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons.

Before The Rock: Competed on the Notre Dame (Ohio) cross country team for one season.

High School: Lettered four times in both track and cross country ... was a state qualifier in the 800-meter run and as part of Freedom Area High School's 4x400-meter relay team in 2010.
